On Monday 14th October, there will be a whole school theme week to celebrate Black History Month. The title of the theme week is: ‘Voices that refused to be silenced.’

Each year group has chosen the following inspirational people to study:
EYFS: Dina Asher-Smith
Year One: Ruby Bridges
Year Two: Claudette Colvin and Rosa Parks
Year Three and Four: Mary Seacole
Year Five: Lilian Bader
Year Six: Martin Luther King Jr.
We are looking forward to seeing all of the wonderful work the children are going to produce.
Today we held a successful meeting with the Local Council to discuss road safety around our school.
This week, thanks to @Menvcity, 5G have been developing their confidence and safety while cycling. Here they are performing the routine checks before riding.
Year 2 have had a lovely morning at Trinity taking part in an indoor athletics competition. It was great fun and we were very proud to be first overall. Well done everybody.
