🌍 Year 5 had a fantastic Geography Field Day!
The children spent the day exploring our local area, learning how to use Ordnance Survey maps before creating their own sketch maps of Linthorpe.
They then investigated local issues by carrying out a survey around school to find out what people felt was the biggest issue in our community. After collecting their data, they presented their findings in graphs and discussed their conclusions.
To finish the day, the children designed eye-catching posters to raise awareness about littering and encourage everyone to take pride in looking after our local area!
