In school, we support a number of local, national and international charities throughout the year. Some of our children even raise money at home or through organised cake stalls at school. Read below for more information.

We are so proud of our children and especially of their compassion and strong sense of justice.

Please see our Mini Vinnies and Called to Serve pages for more information on our charity work.

Lenten Appeal

Each year, we support either Mission Together (by sending home the ‘little red boxes’) or CAFOD’s Lenten initiatives. The motto of “children helping children” really motivates us to support our global neighbours!

This year, we will be sending out these boxes again during Lent. Please see the Mission Together website for more information.

Class Charities

As part of exploring our personal vocations, every class in school chose their own charity to support this year, raising funds, prayers and awareness for those most in need. Our action plans can be found below, alongside some of our initial actions to follow our calling to provide an option for the poor.

Other Works of Charity

Our children are inspired by Catholic Social Teaching to fundraise for those most in need – and many children do this at home and in school of their own accord. See some examples from this year below.
